Position: Manager / Sr. Manager – Business Commercials
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)/Cost Accounted (CMA)
Experience: 5+ Years
Locations: Thrissur, Bangalore, Ahmedabad
Companies preferred: Preferably with exposure to FMCG or Pharmaceuticals
Skills Required:
- Proven track record in managing financial operations in Sales
- Strong knowledge of international financial regulations and standards.
- Strong knowledge of international currency trends, fluctuations and commodity exchange
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Treasury and liquidity management
- Investment analysis and portfolio management
- Excellent in Power BI skills
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales & Marketing Director with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate the profitability of customers, products, channels, and regions.
- Participate in sales and marketing reviews and provide commercial insights.
- Develop pricing models and profitability analysis.
- Review discounts, trade schemes, and promotional offers.
- Ensure target gross margins are achieved.
- Prepare annual sales budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Analyze budget vs. actual performance.
- Monitor trade promotions, rebates, and incentives.
- Measure return on investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns.
- Control commercial expenditure.
- Analyze sales trends, customer profitability, and product mix.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Ensure adherence to pricing policies and delegation of authority.
- Strengthen internal controls over sales transactions and trade schemes.
- Review customer credit limits and credit risks.
- Evaluate new product launches and pricing proposals.
- Conduct business case analyses for expansion projects.
- Support negotiations with key customers using financial insights.
