Job Description

Execute/follow QA processes and systems such that integration testing, system testing, and proofs of concepts are optimized. Setup the lab environment for execution of test plans. Prepare documentation as applicable to support deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities
Support testing new Business cases / Use cases on various network devices.
Proven expertise in building and implementing QA systems, test environments, processes, and tools like
  • Experience with automation
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux
  • Experience using databases
  • Experience with programming / scripting (C, Java, Python, Perl)
  • Expertise with VoIP Protocols SIP, SIP-I
  • Expertise with VoIP Media - RTP/SRTP/RTCP
  • Expertise with SIPP or similar test tool
  • Expertise with IXIA or similar test tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco UCS/Webex, AVAYA, and other UCC platforms
  • Experience with Audio, Video, & Web Collaboration Solutions
  • Experience with OTT applications in a collaboration environment
  • Experience with PSTN architecture and routing practices
  • Experience with Ribbon/Sonus, Acme/Oracle, AudioCodes, Metaswitch, Enghouse aka Dialogic
  • Understanding of Virtualization platforms (RHEVM, VMware, OpenStack)
  • Understanding of Public, Private, and Hybrid cloud technologies es (AWS/Azure/Google/OpenStack)
  • Understanding of Layer 2 & Layer 3 network design and standards
  • Familiarity and understanding of Video (H.264, H.263, H.239, BFCP
  • Familiarity with H323 & SS7
  • Certifications (preferred not mandatory)
  • SSCA, CCNA, CCNP, etc.
Required Skills & Experience
B.E. / B. Tech. with at least 7-11 years of experience in the telecom domain, with strong hands on focus on enterprise voice and UCaaS solutions.
