Role Overview
The Brand Strategy & Communications Manager will support the development and execution of the Essar Group brand strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment across businesses. The role focuses on brand planning, campaign execution, and governance, working closely with senior stakeholders and external partners to build a strong, cohesive, and future-ready brand. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic support and driving execution, ideal for someone who can connect ideas to impactful delivery across multiple stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Planning (Support)
- Support the formulation and rollout of the Group's brand strategy and roadmap.
- Collaborate with businesses to align their brand initiatives with Group direction.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning, tone, and identity across all communication touchpoints.
- Conduct periodic brand audits to check alignment with guidelines
- Assist in tracking campaign effectiveness, brand perception metrics, and insights for decision-making.
2. Development of Brand Assets and Collaterals (Lead)
- Develop and maintain corporate brand collaterals, merchandising, and visual identity systems.
- Support the conceptualization and execution of brand campaigns and initiatives.
- Coordinate with agencies and design partners to deliver creative solutions for events, leadership messages, and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to storytelling efforts that enhance Essar's brand equity.
3. Agency & Partner Management (Lead)
- Liaise with advertising, media, and market research agencies to ensure deliverables meet brand objectives, quality benchmarks, and deadlines.
- Support agency evaluation and onboarding processes.
4. Internal Branding & Communication (Lead)
- Drive internal communication and employee engagement through creative initiatives.
- Conceptualize and publish internal newsletters, updates, and brand stories.
- Act as a brand ambassador to foster internal alignment with Group values, and to manage/develop systems that cultivate and equip brand ambassadors.
5. Governance & Compliance (Support)
- Coordinate with legal, M&A, and finance teams to ensure timely registration, protection, and renewal of brand trademarks and copyrights.
- Support in establishing processes to safeguard and monitor brand use across businesses.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in marketing, communications, or Business Management
- 58 years of experience in brand strategy, corporate communications, or marketing roles.
- Proven track record in managing group/umbrella brands across industries.
- Demonstrated success in managing brand campaigns, creative partners, and multi-stakeholder communication initiatives.
