About The Role
We are looking for a sharp, creative, and execution-focused
Manager/Senior Manager - Brand, Content & Communication to own the entire communication and content engine at CallHippo.
This is not a siloed role. You will be the
custodian of every word that goes out — from a sales outreach message to a LinkedIn post, from an HR communication to a press release. You will ensure that CallHippo speaks with one consistent, compelling voice across every channel, every audience, and every format.
You have a strong background in influencer marketing, understand the creator economy from the inside, have a personal brand of your own, and can build one for others. You are equally at home writing a thought leadership article, briefing an influencer, planning a social media moment, or designing an email nurture flow.
Key Responsibilities- Social Media
- Own and manage the social media content calendar across all platforms.
- Drive content strategy and execution for YouTube and Instagram — reels, shorts, video series, and visual storytelling.
- Execute moment marketing — tap into trending topics, news, and cultural moments to drive brand relevance in real time.
- Build and manage CallHippo's presence on Reddit — community participation, AMAs, product discussions, and organic brand building.
- Maintain a consistent brand tone and visual identity across all social platforms.
- Influencer Marketing
- Build and own CallHippo's influencer marketing strategy end-to-end.
- Identify and manage relationships with micro, macro, and niche influencers in the SaaS, sales, productivity, and startup ecosystems.
- Design and execute influencer campaigns tied to product launches, awareness, and community growth.
- Negotiate partnerships, manage deliverables, and track campaign ROI — reach, engagement, sentiment, and conversions.
- Explore and pilot AI Influencer Marketing— including the development of CallHippo's own AI-powered influencer persona (Hippo animation + AI/human hybrid personality) as a brand mascot and content vehicle.
- Content & Blogs
- Lead a content program that serves multiple goals — SEO, thought leadership, sales enablement, and brand authority.
- Content types to own:
- Thought Leadership Articles — positioning CallHippo and its leaders as industry voices
- SEO Blogs — keyword-driven, traffic-focused content
- Problem Statement Articles — addressing ICP pain points with educational content
- Feature-Driven Articles — product-focused content that drives awareness and adoption
- Partner Content — co-authored or co-branded content with ecosystem partners
- Work with SEO, product, and sales teams to ensure content is aligned with pipeline and ranking goals.
- Publications & High-Impact Content
- Own the production of premium, high-credibility content assets:
- Research Reports — original data-driven reports for brand authority and PR
- Press Releases — for product launches, milestones, partnerships, and funding
- Whitepapers — in-depth content for demand generation and enterprise positioning
- Sponsored Articles — paid editorial placements in relevant publications
- Video Conten — scripting, briefing, and coordinating video production
- Webinars — end-to-end planning, promotion, and execution of webinar programs
- Email Marketing
- Own and manage all outbound email communication in collaboration with relevant teams:
- Support Emails — ensuring brand-consistent, empathetic customer communication
- Nurture Sequences — multi-touch drip campaigns for leads at different funnel stages
- Newsletters — regular value-driven newsletters for customers and prospects
- Occasional/Transactional Emails — product updates, announcements, and one-time campaigns
- Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all email touchpoints.
- Cross-Functional Communication Ownership
- Act as the single source of truth for all messaging going out from CallHippo — across Marketing, Sales, HR, and Leadership.
- Review and refine HR communications — offer letters tone, internal announcements, culture posts, employer branding messages.
- Elevate Sales messaging — cold outreach, sequences, LinkedIn messages, pitch decks — ensuring they reflect the brand and speak to the ICP.
- Collaborate with Product on in-app messaging, release notes, and feature announcements.
- Build a messaging framework and style guide that all teams can follow independently.
- Branding, Messaging, Positioning & Targeting
- Be the guardian of CallHippo's brand identity — tone, voice, visual language, and messaging hierarchy.
- Develop and maintain a brand messaging framework — positioning statement, value propositions, ICP personas, and competitive differentiators.
- Conduct periodic brand audits to ensure consistency across website, ads, social, sales collateral, and partner materials.
- Work closely with design to ensure visual and verbal identity are always aligned.
- Ensure all content and communication is targeted correctly — right message, right audience, right channel.
- Personal Branding - Leadership
- Own and drive the personal brand strategy for Founder/CEO and other key executives.
- Develop a consistent, authentic, and high-visibility presence on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, podcasts, and speaking circuits.
- Ghost-write posts, articles, threads, and video scripts in the founder's voice.
- Identify and secure speaking engagements, podcast appearances, media features, and award nominations.
- Track personal brand growth — followers, engagement, inbound media requests, and share of voice.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Background
- 5-9 years of experience in Brand Communication, Content Marketing, Influencer Marketing, or Integrated Marketing.
- You have a personal brand yourself — a LinkedIn/IG following, a creator presence, a newsletter, a podcast, or have worked as an influencer or content creator. This is non-negotiable.
- Proven experience running influencer campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Experience building or contributing to a founder/executive personal brand.
- Background in SaaS, B2B, startup, or tech strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional writing skills — long-form, short-form, social copy, email, and executive voice writing.
- Deep understanding of the influencer ecosystem and creator economy.
- Strong grasp of SEO content strategy and digital content distribution.
- Comfortable with analytics — content performance, engagement metrics, email KPIs, and campaign reporting.
- Strong project management skills — able to run multiple content streams simultaneously.
- Experience with or curiosity about AI content tools and AI-driven brand personas is a strong plus.
