Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end data management, including data ingestion, integration, governance, and quality processes.
  • Oversee end-to-end data lifecycle management, including data ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, and publishing.
  • Drive large-scale data migrations and modernizations, particularly from legacy systems like Redshift to advanced cloud-based platforms like Databricks and IDMC.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to establish best practices for data governance and stewardship.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) and data security standards.
  • Lead a team of data professionals, mentoring and developing talent within the organization.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams, to align data initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining a high standard of execution.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership in data management.

Education

  • BE/B.Tech
  • Master of Computer Application

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Pharma domain.
  • 15+ years of experience in data management, analytics, and technology implementation, with a focus on the life sciences industry, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale data transformation and migration projects using IDMC, Databricks, and AWS technologies.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills in an Agile/SAFe environment.
  • Strong expertise in data governance, data cataloging, data quality frameworks, and business rule implementation.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL processes, cloud-based data engineering, and reporting solutions (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Expertise in managing stakeholder relationships and working with cross-functional global teams.
  • Experience in AI/ML-driven predictive analytics and commercial operations analytics is a plus.
