Manager - Backend

• Responsible for working with key business stakeholders to design and develop ETL layer to meet Data Warehouse requirements for end user reporting, KPI s and analytics capability
• Responsibilities will include leading and guiding ETL based design and development

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide in design and development of Informatica/Pentaho based ETL Architecture
• Architect, Manage, build and quality assure code to ensure fulfillment of business requirement and adhering to ETL architecture and ensure inconsistency, data redundancy and duplication of objects are eliminated
• Manage partners to handle various layer of Data Warehousing like Database Management, Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL), Integration for souring the data from various operational systems, Design, build and launch new data models
• Assess requirements for completeness and accuracy.
• Determine if requirements are actionable for ETL team.
• Conduct impact assessment and determine size of effort based on requirements.
• Develop full SDLC project plans to implement ETL solution and identify resource requirements.
• Experience in agile methodologies
• Define and manage SLAs for all ETL jobs, reports and analytics and support all existing ETL and data quality processes running in production
• Build data expertise and own data quality
• Exercise creativity in the design, development, or improvement of existing processes and driving management of change
• Manage and implement on-going operations of hosted data solutions including security, user admin, and other administrative requirements

Essential Attributes

Experience in Data Warehouse designing (on-prem and Cloud), Experience in databases like SQL Server, Oracle Cosmos etc. Experience in ETL tools like SSIS etc.

Experience in integrating with Sales Force, Power BI or similar visualization tools, Experience in Jira or ServiceNow or similar tools

Qualification

Graduation in Engineering (preferably in Computer Science
