Key Responsibilities (10 Major Points)
Market Development & Business Growth
Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow business in fabrication and heavy fabrication sectors such as structural steel, pressure vessels, tanks, industrial equipment, and custom-engineered products.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Identify new customers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and industrial clients; build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Technical Sales & Proposal Management
Lead preparation of techno-commercial proposals, RFQs, tenders, and bids by coordinating with engineering, estimation, and production teams.
Industry & Market Analysis
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
Coordination with Engineering & Production
Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure technical clarity, feasibility, and timely execution of orders.
Contract Negotiation & Order Finalization
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions to close orders profitably.
Customer Satisfaction & After-Sales Support
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing technical queries, delivery commitments, and post-order support.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
Prepare sales forecasts, annual marketing plans, and business development strategies aligned with company goals.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with quality standards, statutory requirements, and client-specific documentation related to fabrication projects.
Team Leadership & Reporting
Lead and mentor marketing/sales team members; prepare regular MIS reports on sales performance, order book, and market activities for management review.
