Job Description
- Lead and oversee Mechanical and Piping engineering activities throughout project execution.
- Plan, review, and approve engineering deliverables including specifications, datasheets, calculations, reports, material requisitions, and drawings.
- Coordinate mechanical and piping system design for offshore and marine vessels projects.
- Manage vendor packages, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews.
- Coordinate with clients, shipyards, vendors, subcontractors, classification societies, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and classification requirements.
- Support proposal preparation, technical studies, engineering estimates, and project planning activities.
- Manage engineering resources, schedules, budgets, and project risks.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability reviews, FAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers.
- Support site surveys, inspections, construction support, and project handover activities.
