About The Role
Join Zimyo's Payroll engineering team and own features end-to-end — from React UIs to Node.js APIs powering payroll processing, tax computation, employee self-service, and international payroll for thousands of organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend
- Build data-heavy UIs with React 18, Redux Toolkit, and MUI
- Interactive dashboards and reports using ApexCharts / FusionCharts
- Multi-step forms with React Hook Form + Yup; drag-and-drop with react-beautiful-dnd
- Internationalization (i18n), performance optimization, Axios API integration
Backend
- RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js
- Payroll workflows — tax declarations, arrears, CTC, FNF, benefits, loans
- MySQL (Sequelize) + MongoDB (Mongoose), Redis caching, AWS S3 / Bedrock
- Excel (ExcelJS), PDF (pdf-lib), XML import/export engines
- API security with Helmet, CORS, and auth middleware
Cross-Cutting
- Own features end-to-end from UI to database
- Collaborate with HRMS, Finance, and ESS teams
- Monitor production issues; participate in code reviews and sprints
Qualifications
- 3–5 years with React.js and Node.js / Express.js
- Redux Toolkit, MUI, React Hook Form + Yup
- MySQL (Sequelize), MongoDB (Mongoose), Redis
- RESTful API design and consumption
- AWS S3, responsive design, Git
- AI/LLM integration (AWS Bedrock or similar)
Good-to-Have
- HR Tech / Payroll / FinTech domain experience
- Indian payroll compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS)
- Charting libraries (ApexCharts, FusionCharts), i18n/l10n
- Multi-tenant SaaS, international payroll, Excel/PDF generation
