Manager – Admission Outreach (UG)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Manager – Admission Outreach (UG) to lead and strengthen undergraduate student outreach and engagement for our design programs.

The role will be responsible for building awareness and consideration among prospective students, parents, schools, educators, and the wider creative community. The ideal candidate should understand the design education ecosystem, have strong outreach and relationship-building skills, and be comfortable working across schools, events, workshops, portfolio interactions, and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Undergraduate Outreach Strategy

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly outreach plans for UG design admissions.
  • Identify key student segments, geographies, schools, colleges, coaching centres, and communities relevant to design aspirants.
  • Build outreach strategies aligned with admission targets, program positioning, and institutional brand objectives.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, student preferences, and emerging opportunities in design education.

2. School & Institutional Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, counsellors, principals, teachers, career guidance teams, and education networks.
  • Drive school visits, career talks, design awareness sessions, workshops, webinars, and student engagement initiatives.
  • Develop long-term institutional partnerships that create a consistent pipeline of prospective UG applicants.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce students to design as a career and educate them about design disciplines, portfolios, careers, and the admissions process.

3. Student & Parent Engagement

  • Develop meaningful engagement journeys for prospective students and parents from awareness through application.
  • Conduct and facilitate information sessions, counselling interactions, portfolio guidance sessions, open houses, campus visits, and admission events.
  • Ensure prospective students receive accurate and compelling information about programs, pedagogy, careers, faculty, campus life, and the design industry.
  • Understand student aspirations and guide them toward relevant design programs.

4. Events & Outreach Activations

  • Plan and execute UG admission events such as open houses, design workshops, school competitions, career fairs, exhibitions, webinars, and portfolio-related initiatives.
  • Manage event calendars, budgets, vendors, logistics, faculty participation, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Create innovative outreach formats that reflect the institution's creative and design-led positioning.
  • Measure the effectiveness of each activation through participation, engagement, leads, applications, and conversions.

5. Lead Generation & Conversion

  • Work closely with the admissions and marketing teams to generate qualified UG leads.
  • Own outreach-generated lead pipelines and ensure timely follow-up and movement through the admissions funnel.
  • Analyse lead quality, source performance, conversion rates, and geographic trends.
  • Develop interventions to improve enquiry-to-application and application-to-enrolment conversion.

6. Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor outreach executives/counsellors or regional outreach teams, as applicable.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Admissions, Academic teams, Faculty, Student Affairs, and senior leadership.
  • Ensure consistent communication of the institution's programs and brand proposition across all outreach touchpoints.
  • Build processes, reporting mechanisms, and SOPs for scalable outreach operations.

7. Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain dashboards and regular reports covering outreach activity, leads, events, applications, conversions, and targets.
  • Use data to identify high-performing channels, regions, institutions, and campaigns.
  • Present periodic performance reviews and actionable recommendations to leadership.
