Job Title: Manager - Ad Operations

Location: Gurugram

Experience: Minimum 4 years of Ad Operations, Programmatic, or Digital Campaign Management within digital marketing agencies, integrated ad agencies, mainstream advertising, new media, marketing, creative or similar roles within mainline or digital agencies. (Experience from other industries will not be considered for this position)

Job Purpose:

The Manager Ad Operations (Ad Ops) is responsible for leading the execution, optimization, and delivery of digital advertising campaigns across platforms. This role ensures operational excellence, adherence to best practices, and achievement of client performance goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and superior campaign outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement, manage, and optimize digital ad campaigns in line with client objectives and dentsu's operational standards.
  • Ensure digital campaigns are trafficked accurately and efficiently across platforms (e.g., CM360, DV360, Meta, Google Ads, Programmatic platforms).
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to ensure delivery against KPIs and troubleshoot delivery issues in real time.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal client teams, media planners, and cross-functional departments to drive growth and enhance performance.
  • Share timely and accurate campaign performance insights and recommendations with account teams and clients.
  • Conduct quality checks, ensure accurate tracking implementation, and perform thorough campaign testing before launch.
  • Identify discrepancies or non-compliance with taxonomy standards and initiate corrective actions to maintain clean and consistent data.
  • Work collaboratively with analytics and media teams to improve reporting accuracy and optimize data flows.
  • Stay updated with the latest ad tech trends, tools, and platform capabilities to drive operational efficiency.
  • Support junior team members with guidance, knowledge sharing, and operational supervision.

Professional Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Technology, or related field.
  • 47 years of experience in Ad Operations, Programmatic, or Digital Campaign Management.
  • Exposure to tools and platforms such as Google Campaign Manager, DV360, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Comscore, GWI, IRS, DV360, Facebook Business Manager, Google Ad words, Search Ads 360, Google Analytics, Amazon, LinkedIn and Ad Verification Tools
  • Strong understanding of digital media, tracking , and campaign measurement.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with taxonomies, naming conventions, and data hygiene processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
