Key Responsibilities:

  • To work upon various types of health insurance products pricing, preparation of technical notes and working closely with the product and underwriting team on product design and market-research.
  • Design and define key matrix for tracking product performance and generating business insights.
  • Preparation of reports for annual valuations, financial condition reports, asset-liability report, economic capital and other actuarial projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for any IRDAI related requirements and queries.
  • To work towards bringing efficiency and maximum automation in various actuarial projects.

Key Requirements

  • An Associate or nearly qualified Actuary with 5-7 years of experience in reserving or pricing the retail insurance products preferably Health lines of business, with a focus on the Indian Insurance market
  • Experience in working on various regulatory actuarial reports e.g. Annual valuation, FCR, ALM, EC etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Insurance related regulations, actuarial standards of practice, actuarial modeling techniques and various statistical analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to handle complex actuarial calculations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex concepts and findings to non-actuarial audiences
  • Attention to detail, high levels of accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience of managing project team both upwards and downwards stakeholder management
  • Hands-on experience with R/Python and MS Office.
