Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Accounts to independently manage the company's accounting, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking operations, payroll, and MIS. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in taxation and compliance, and the ability to work closely with management, auditors, consultants, and banking partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting, Finance & Compliance
• Manage the complete books of accounts including monthly, quarterly, and annual finalisation of accounts, preparation of financial statements, financial reporting, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, GST, TDS, Income Tax documentation, statutory filings, and coordinate with auditors, Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
Banking & Treasury
• Manage banking operations, fund transfers, bank reconciliations, cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Oversee vendor payments, customer collections, reconciliations, and ageing analysis.
Payroll & MIS
• Process monthly payroll, statutory deductions, prepare MIS, budgets, profitability analysis, and management reports.
Internal Controls
• Strengthen internal financial controls, improve accounting processes, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
• CA (Inter) / CMA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / B.Com with strong relevant experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience independently handling the complete accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory compliance, and basic provisions of the Companies Act.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, Advanced Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
• Prior experience in the media, entertainment, or service industry will be an advantage.
• High integrity, analytical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
