The Manager Accounting will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations with a strong focus on closing of books, financial reporting, and compliance. The role requires hands-on experience in managing accounting activities within a manufacturing environment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to statutory and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing of books.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with. applicable accounting standards.
- Handle statutory compliances, audits, and coordination with external auditors.
- Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data and reporting requirements.
- Support management with MIS, analysis, and ad-hoc financial reports.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified CA
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience (excluding article ship).
- Strong hands-on experience in closing of books and core accounting.
- Mandatory experience working in a manufacturing company.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar) and strong Excel skills.
- High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently.
