We are looking for a Manager, Account Management to lead a team of Account Managers responsible for the growth and development of some of the most influential sellers on the Amazon.in marketplace.
The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment where they must develop, implement and iterate on business strategies to deliver growth and positive experience for sellers. The candidate should be hands-on, detail oriented, have relentlessly high standards and operates as a business owner who understands key levers to achieve results through their team. The candidate has a passion for people management and is at their best when they're building, developing and guiding high-performing teams.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for driving strategic business and operational objectives of their Account Management team. The candidate will drive the creation and execution of strategies to achieve business goals through their team by focusing on selection acquisition, and improving affordability for customers through various pricing interventions. The candidate will also guide sellers on leveraging advertising to grow their business on Amazon.in. The team operates on an Easy Ship model, and the candidate will be responsible for ensuring sellers are set up for success with efficient logistics and delivery. The candidate would need to actively collaborate with other stakeholders like Category Management, Pricing, Product, and Advertising teams to align programs and initiatives that identify growth avenues and drive seller success.

Key job responsibilities
Business Growth
- Contribute to goal setting for your team aligned with organizational objectives
- Develop business strategies and identify input metrics that drive growth and improve customer & seller experience, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Manage and deliver against complex goals where strategy is not defined make tradeoffs between short-term seller needs and longer-term strategic investment
- Implement and track metrics to measure team success and uncover areas of opportunity
Relationship Management
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with sellers and internal stakeholders act as a trusted advisor and business advocate
- Monitor seller satisfaction trends, establish improvement plans, and manage expectations with Account Managers
Process Excellence
- Leverage customer feedback, market trends, and key metrics to develop programs that accelerate seller growth and improve their Amazon experience
- Identify, optimize, and scale process improvements across teams, driving efficiencies through tools, simplified SOPs, and mechanisms that create accountability
A day in the life
Leadership
- Manage a team of Account Managers (6+ direct reports) coach, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing group
- Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria and understanding evolving seller business needs contribute to strategic plans and documents for the organization
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Category Management, Pricing, Product, and Advertising to align programs and drive growth
- Manage recruiting and hiring efforts across the direct team and broader organization
- 2+ years of account management, brand management, performance marketing, digital marketing, sales or consulting experience
- Experience managing a team of 6-10 employees
- Experience analyzing data and applying best practices to assess performance drivers
- 3+ years of account management, brand management, performance marketing, digital marketing, sales or consulting experience
