Hiring: Chartered Accountant & Company Secretary – Park Street, Kolkata
Designation: Manage Accounts and Finance

Position Overview
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant who is also a Company Secretary, to handle accounts independently, finance and secretarial compliances for a growing organization based at Park Street, Kolkata. The role involves balance sheet finalization, ROC compliances, banking coordination and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
• Finalization of standalone and consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, profit & loss and related schedules as per applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual book closure, ledger scrutiny, provisions, accruals and reconciliations.
• Manage statutory, internal and tax audits; prepare supporting schedules and coordinate with auditors.
• Handle ROC compliances: preparation and filing of eforms, annual returns, AOC4, MGT7/7A, PAS forms and other statutory filings within due dates.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other corporate laws; maintain statutory registers, minutes and other secretarial records.
• Coordinate with banks for working capital facilities, term loans, documentation, stock statements, CMA data, renewals and other routine banking matters.
• Support management in budgeting, variance analysis, MIS and provide financial insights for decisionmaking.
• Liaise with external consultants for tax, legal and other regulatory matters.
• Implement and improve internal controls, processes and documentation for finance and compliance functions.

Candidate Profile
• Qualified CA + CS with minimum 3 years postqualification experience in corporate accounts, finance and compliances.
• Handson experience in balance sheet finalization, ROC filings and statutory compliances
• Strong knowledge of Companies Act, basic tax provisions and corporate governance.
• Proficient in Tally/ERP and MS Excel; comfortable working with large data sets.[1]
• Good communication and coordination skills to deal with banks, auditors and management.
• High integrity, ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a growing organization.
