Position: MT - Packaging Development
Department: Packaging Development
Location: Thane Maharashtra
Key Responsibilities-
* Develop packaging concepts and prototypes; create packaging drawings, and specifications. Ensure the designed packaging is suitable for product protection, ease of manufacturing, handling and storage.
* Conduct Packaging fitting trials, design validation through drop test and other transport worthy tests, transit trials etc.
* Coordinate with packaging suppliers for samples, quotations, trials and development activities.
* Timely release of bill of packaging materials, drawings and specifications.
* Support manufacturing team for implementation of packaging at production lines.
* Timely communication with internal teams, cross-functional teams and vendors.
* Work on assigned packaging cost reduction projects, material optimization, or evaluate alternate materials or packaging methods.
* Support investigation of packaging-related quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Visit supplier locations as required for quality checks, process verification, trials and resolution of packaging-related issues.
* Maintain artwork, drawings and packaging test reports library.
Education & Experience –
* Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology from reputed packaging institute.
* 0–2 years of experience in packaging development. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in packaging development are preferred.
