Job Description

  • Identify and develop new B2B clients in industries using coal or alternative fuel sources.
  • Visit client head offices and plant sites to engage purchase teams and management for sales discussions.
  • Generate leads, enquiries, and sales opportunities through fieldwork, networking, and market intelligence.
  • Execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and periodic sales targets.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals with backend team support.
  • Conduct client presentations, negotiations, and support commercial and technical closures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including customer service, operations, quality, safety, and credit for order execution.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of daily sales activities in CRM and other sales tracking systems post training.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industrial clients and procurement stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales SOPs, policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Travel extensively for client meetings, plant visits, and industry-related engagements.
  • Develop industry-specific networks across sectors such as cement, chemicals, textiles, sugar, paper, fertilisers, and distilleries.
