Management Information Systems Manager

Job Description: MIS Manager – Chemical Plant/Pharma/Process industry

Reporting To:Plant Head / Operations Head

Location:Mahad,Mumbai

Job Purpose

To manage and streamline MIS systems for production, inventory, quality, and compliance data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making and improve plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, shift-wise, and monthly production MIS reports
• Monitor yield, raw material consumption, and process efficiency
• Track inventory (Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Goods)
• Analyze consumption variance and stock accuracy
• Maintain quality data, batch records, and traceability
• Support costing (RM cost, utilities, conversion cost)
• Track utility consumption (power, steam, water)
• Provide data for audits (ISO, PCB, Factory compliance)
• Handle ERP data entry and reporting (SAP / other systems)
• Develop MIS dashboards using Excel / Power BI
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Stores, and Accounts teams

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of chemical plant operations
• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot, formulas, basic automation)
• ERP system knowledge (SAP preferred)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and data accuracy

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech (Chemical) OR Graduate with relevant MIS experience. MBA (Operations / Systems) – Preferred

Experience

5–10 years in MIS / plant reporting. Experience in chemical/pharma / process industry preferred.
