Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented MIS Executive who can own and drive data across the business. This is not just a reporting role—it is a core business intelligence function that directly impacts growth, planning, and profitability.
You will work closely with founders and cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities1. MIS & Reporting- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Build structured reports across:
- Sales performance
- Inventory health
- Financial summaries
- Marketplace performance
- Ensure high accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports
2. Catalog Planning & SKU Analytics- Support catalog planning through data-backed insights
- Analyze SKU-level performance (sell-through, margins, aging, velocity)
- Identify top performers, slow movers, and dead stock
- Recommend actions on pricing, replenishment, or liquidation
3. Marketplace & Shopify Analytics- Create and manage dashboards across all platforms:
- Marketplaces (Amazon, Myntra, etc.)
- Shopify / D2C website
- Track key metrics:
- Conversion rates
- Traffic vs sales
- Channel-wise performance
- Return rates & profitability
- Provide actionable insights to optimize listings and sales
4. Inventory Performance Management- Monitor inventory levels, aging, and stock movement
- Track stock cover, replenishment cycles, and stock-outs
- Align inventory data with sales trends and business plans
- Work closely with supply chain for efficient stock planning
5. Data Analysis & Business Insights- Analyze trends across categories, channels, and time periods
- Build dashboards and automate reports for faster decision-making
- Highlight risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
- Support leadership with data for strategic planning
Qualifications & Skills- Strong expertise in MIS, data analysis, and business reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (mandatory):Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH
- Data cleaning & structuring
- Basic automation and dashboards
- Experience with Google Sheets; Power BI or similar tools is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive insights
- Good communication skills to collaborate across teams
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Commerce, or related field preferred
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or apparel is highly preferred
