Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Managed Services Leader - AI & Datato lead large-scale managed services engagements for global clients (Preferably Insurance/FS). The role will be responsible for driving end-to-end service delivery across AI, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Platforms while ensuring operational excellence, transformation, and AI-led optimization.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in:
Managing large global managed service engagements
Leading complex and hostile transitions
Insurance domain and regulatory understanding
Driving AI-led productivity and service transformation
Building high-performing global delivery teams
Executive stakeholder management
This role will be based out of either Bengaluruor Kochi.

Key Responsibilities
Managed Services Leadership
Lead large-scale AI & Data managed services engagements for global insurance clients across multiple geographies.
Own service delivery for Data Engineering, AI/ML platforms, BI & Analytics, Reporting, Data Governance, and Cloud Data Platforms.
Ensure SLA/KPI adherence, operational stability, service quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Establish robust governance models including operational reviews, executive steering committees, and service performance management.

Transition & Transformation Leadership
Lead complex transition and transformation programs including incumbent takeovers and hostile transitions.
Build and execute structured transition plans covering discovery, KT, reverse KT, stabilization, hypercare, and steady-state operations.
Manage risks associated with poor documentation, SME dependency, fragmented landscapes, and operational instability.
Establish command center governance during critical transitions.

AI-led Service Optimization
Drive AI-first managed services transformation strategy across operations and support functions.
Implement AI and automation use cases including:
Intelligent ticket routing
Incident prediction and prevention
Auto-remediation
Knowledge assistants / GenAI copilots
Predictive monitoring
Service analytics and insights
Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, MTTR, automation %, SLA performance, and cost optimization.

Partner with insurance clients across:
Policy Administration
Claims
Underwriting
Distribution
Finance & Regulatory Reporting
Data & Analytics Platforms
Ensure alignment with insurance regulatory and compliance requirements including data privacy, auditability, and governance.
Bring understanding of platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Salesforce, or equivalent ecosystems.

Build strong CXO-level client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
Support managed services growth through solutioning, transformation roadmaps, and value realization discussions.
Drive financial performance including revenue growth, margin improvement, productivity, and utilization optimization.
Lead executive-level escalations and service recovery initiatives.

Lead and mentor large global delivery teams across India and international locations.

Required Qualifications & Experience
18+ years of experience in IT services / managed services delivery.
8+ years leading large-scale managed services engagements.
Proven experience managing AI & Data managed services portfolios.
Strong experience in insurance domain engagements.
Demonstrated success in leading large and complex transitions, including hostile transitions.
Experience delivering AI-led operational optimization and automation initiatives.
Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, AI/ML Ops, Analytics, and enterprise data ecosystems.
Experience managing global delivery teams and multi-vendor ecosystems.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Databricks
Exposure to GenAI operationalization and AI governance.
Understanding of ITIL / SRE / DevSecOps practices.
