About the Role

This role spans both organizations — The Ark Enterprise (managed IT for churches, Christian schools, and non-profits) and Justo Global (IT services for SMEs and emerging enterprises). The Managed IT Lead will operate across both client bases, leading a team that delivers high-SLA managed services with depth in Microsoft 365 environments and cloud-first infrastructure.

Role Summary

The Managed IT Lead is the senior technical authority responsible for service delivery excellence across a portfolio of managed clients. You will drive both day-to-day operational stability and longer-term infrastructure transformation — including cloud migrations, security hardening, and the deployment of AI-augmented operations. You will manage engineers, own vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and be the primary escalation point for complex client environments.

This is a hands-on leadership role: you need to be as comfortable in a PowerShell session as you are presenting a Quarterly Business Review to a nonprofit executive or a US-based SME leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Microsoft 365 & Endpoints: Govern M365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), Intune MDM/MAM, Defender policies, and SCCM for hybrid environments.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Lead Azure/GCP/AWS migrations, Hyper-V virtualization, HA/DR strategies, and FinOps optimization.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement ISO 27001, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, DLP, vulnerability assessments, and GRC frameworks.
  • Network & Admin: Manage Active Directory (on-prem/Azure AD/Entra ID), DHCP/DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Team Leadership: Guide L1–L3 engineers across time zones, handle escalations, run 1:1s, and bridge delivery with client accounts.
  • Service Desk & ITSM: Own Zoho Desk/ServiceNow/JIRA, enforce SLAs, and automate with ITIL v4.
  • Projects & Vendors: Deliver Agile cloud transformations, negotiate contracts (M365/Azure/CrowdStrike), manage budgets, and deploy AI tools like Power Automate for proactive ops.

Skills & Technical Must-Haves

  • Infrastructure/Cloud: M365 Suite, Intune, Defender, PowerShell, Hyper-V, Azure/GCP/AWS, hybrid cloud, DR/HA, VPN/firewalls.
  • Security/Compliance: ISO 27001, CrowdStrike, Sentinel SIEM, DLP, vulnerability assessments, GRC, SOPs.
  • Leadership/Projects: Multi-site ops, cloud PM, Agile/DevOps, ITIL v4, vendor negotiation, budgeting.
  • Tools: Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, ServiceNow/Zoho Desk/JIRA, CRM/dialer systems.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in managed IT services or enterprise ops.
  • 1+ years leading teams.
  • Deep hands-on Microsoft 365/Azure experience.
  • Proven security expertise (ISO 27001, CrowdStrike/Sentinel equivalents).
  • Multi-client portfolio management.
  • PowerShell scripting and Active Directory proficiency.
  • ITSM tools experience (Zoho Desk, JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.).
