Description
As a Managed Services Consultant at Forterro Sweden, you will be based in our office in
Bangalore, working within a flexible and dynamic team.

The role involves delivering operational support for customer ERP environments. You install, configure, and maintain ERP systems for multiple clients.
You work with defined objectives and use established methods to solve routine and moderately difficult issues. You apply practical knowledge to keep systems stable, secure, and available. You manage incidents, service requests, deployments, and changes. You identify improvements and recommend enhancements. You share knowledge with colleagues and provide informal guidance to less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
System Monitoring and Maintenance
- Monitor Critical Services and System Performance.
- Health Checks: Regularly check the health of the EC2 instances, ERP system and other resources.
User Management
- Provisioning Users: Create and manage user accounts.
- Access Control: Configure IAM roles and policies to ensure proper access control.
Support and Troubleshooting
- Incident Response: Respond to and resolve incidents.
- Support Tickets: Manage and resolve support tickets in a timely manner.
- Log Analysis: Analyse application and system logs to troubleshoot issues.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose solutions.
Configuration Management
- System Configuration: Assist in configuring ERP modules as per business requirements.
- Parameter Tuning: Tune & configure system parameters to optimize performance.
- Microsoft SQL, benchmarking, and performance analysis / optimization.
Security Management
- Audit Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements.
Deployment and Updates
- Software Updates: Apply patches and updates to the ERP software.
- Environment Management: Manage different environments (development, testing, production) within AWS.
Documentation and Reporting
- Document Procedures: Create and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and system configurations.
Knowledge Base: Contribute to a knowledge base for common issues and solutions.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
To be successful and thrive in the role we believe you have a bachelor's degree in informatics or information technology and at least 2-3 years experience within database administration (DBA), .NET, JavaScriptTypeScript, and Microsoft based systems and architecture.
Moreover you have experience in Infrastructure and Cloud solutions, as well as within System Administration (e.g. Windows) and Virtualization. Having a certification in Cloud & Microsoft solutions is a advantage, but it is not a requirement for this role.
