Role Description The Malayalam Content Moderator Intern role is a full-time, remote position focused on maintaining safe, accurate, and engaging content across Flufex Connect's platforms and creator communities. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing Malayalam user-generated content, identifying and flagging content that violates community guidelines, and ensuring compliance with platform policies and brand standards. The intern will monitor comments, posts, and messages for inappropriate, harmful, or misleading material, and escalate complex cases to senior team members when needed. This role also involves responding to basic user queries, documenting recurring issues, and providing feedback to internal teams to improve content quality, workflows, and moderation guidelines. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in training sessions, and help refine moderation processes to support a safe and positive environment for creators and audiences.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to review, evaluate, and categorize Malayalam content, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Effective communication skills in Malayalam and English to interact with internal teams and document findings clearly.
• Customer service skills to handle user or creator queries professionally and support a positive experience.
• Basic technical support skills to navigate content management tools, moderation dashboards, and reporting systems.
• Willingness to participate in training and continuously learn platform guidelines, best practices, and new moderation workflows.
• Fluency in written and spoken Malayalam, with cultural awareness of regional nuances and online trends.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets.
• Prior experience or coursework in social media, content moderation, digital communities, or related fields is an advantage.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in communications, media studies, linguistics, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
