Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Makeup Artist role based at Calixta Salon's location in New Delhi. The Makeup Artist will provide makeup services for daily clients, special events, weddings, photoshoots, and other occasions, ensuring looks are tailored to client preferences and skin types. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients, preparing and maintaining a clean workstation, selecting appropriate products and tools, and applying makeup with attention to detail and hygiene standards. The role also involves collaborating with hairstylists and skincare professionals to create cohesive looks, recommending products and services, and supporting overall salon presentation and client experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling and basic Cosmetology skills to complement makeup services and collaborate with the salon team.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to ensure a welcoming, professional, and client-focused experience.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to recommend services and products that meet client needs and support salon growth.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to guide junior team members and participate in ongoing skill development.
• Professional experience as a Makeup Artist in salon, bridal, or event settings; portfolio of previous work is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of current makeup trends, skincare basics, color theory, and product suitability for diverse skin tones and types.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak festive/wedding seasons, and to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Formal certification in makeup artistry or cosmetology is preferred but relevant experience will also be considered.
