Role Description

This is a contract-based, on-site role located in Chennai for a Major Incident Manager. The primary responsibility of the Major Incident Manager is to manage critical incidents to minimize service disruptions and restore service availability promptly. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, performing root cause analysis, adhering to IT service management best practices, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Major Incident Management and Problem Management.
  • Familiarity with Incident Management and IT Service Management processes.
  • Experience in providing Technical Support in complex environments.
  • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills with a focus on delivering positive outcomes during high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear and timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL or similar are an added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
  • Experience: 6 to 8 yrs
