Job Description
Position: Mechanical / Utility Engineer
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Industry: Chemical / Specialty Chemicals
Location: Ganjam, Odisha
Project: New Greenfield Chemical Manufacturing Plant
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute mechanical project activities, including equipment erection, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
- Handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utility equipment.
- Maintain utilities such as Chillers, Boilers, Air Compressors, Pumps, ETP, and other utility systems.
- Coordinate with project, production, and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and smooth plant operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintenance schedules.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in the Chemical / Specialty Chemical industry.
- Hands-on experience in project execution and mechanical/utility maintenance.
- Practical exposure to chillers, boilers, compressors, ETP, pumps, and related utilities.
- Greenfield project and commissioning experience will be an added advantage.
