Maintenance Technician (Assam/North Salmara)

To ensure the optimal functioning, reliability, and safety of all technical equipment at the vehicle inspection station. This role guarantees that inspection processes are carried out in compliance with applicable regulations and company quality standards.

Experience in maintenance of industrial machinery, automotive workshops, or vehicle inspection equipment is an advantage.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PTS equipment, including:

• Brake testers
• Headlight aligners
• Suspension and side-slip testers
• Gas and emissions analyzers
• Diagnostic systems
• Inspection pits, lifts, and related machinery

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment failures efficiently to minimize operational downtime.

Conduct periodic equipment verification and calibration in accordance with technical and regulatory requirements.

Log and document technical issues, maintenance activities, and corrective actions in internal systems.

Provide technical support to inspectors when malfunction or irregularities arise during inspections.

Coordinate with external service providers for advanced repairs or specialized interventions when needed.

Comply with all safety, environmental, and quality procedures established by the company and local regulations.

Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems

Basic mechanical skills

Understanding of pneumatics and sensors

Ability to use diagnostic tools and measurement instruments

Ability to interpret technical manuals (technical English recommended)
