Job Responsibilities •
MARINA - MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
If applicable, actively support the Marina hand over from the contractors and suppliers ensuring project compliance with internal, domestic, and international certifications and regulations. • During project and handover phases, actively work to ensure snags and faults are identified and rectified immediately, to avoid remedial works during handover. • Perform regular inspection, maintenance and repair of marina infrastructure, including but not limited topontoons, walkways, mooring systems, pontoon wood decking planks, gates, access control, utilities and other operational systems as may apply. • Conduct inspections of high power electrical systems, plumbing, and safety equipment, ensuring compliance with standards. • Supports daily operations and berthing in times of no maintenance works to be done. • Takes ownership of high value supplies and materials, carefully keeping records of works, change control in respect to replace of parts, proactive work on pedestal calibrations and documenting thereof. • Repair and maintain fueling systems, pump-out systems, and other critical marina equipment. • Address carpentry, welding, and mechanical repairs as required. • Assist in setting up and installing new marina facilities and equipment. • Respond to maintenance requests from staff and clients promptly and efficiently. • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and safety equipment. • Participate in safety drills and training sessions, ensuring readiness for emergencies. • Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks. • On standby to support the marina during events and heavy weather, supporting all functions including dockmasters as required. • Document maintenance activities and report findings to the Marina Maintenance Manager.
