Maintenance Manager


Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Maintenance: Oversees execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines. Collaborates with Production team to define preventive maintenance plans for production lines, and consults on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment. Updates and reviews stocks of critical spare parts list.
  • Documentation: Manages and updates technical information of equipment, production lines, utilities and/or facilities. And keeps documents available for reference.
  • Technical resolution: Solves major technical issues or equipment problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines. Maintains tools and repair equipment in good working order.
  • Improvement projects: Proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
  • Breakdowns: Responds to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption to production process. Understand mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Health and safety: Implements health and safety guidelines and directives to ensure safety of people and resources. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, LOTO, and PPE usage during maintenance activities.
  • ISO Compliances: Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with applicable ISO standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001). The role focuses on documentation, compliance, audits, continuous improvement, and coordination between maintenance and cross functions.
  • Environmental responsibilities: Support on reduction of energy consumption, emissions, water usage, and waste through optimized maintenance practices. Monitor and improve equipment efficiency (OEE, power factor, leak management, lubrication practices).

Qualifications for the role
  • 8 to 12 years of working maintenance experience in heavy machine industries.
  • Full time Diploma or Engineering in Electrical or Electronic & Communication Engineering with government supervisory license.
  • Comfortable to work in Shifts
  • Have a good knowledge of computer-assisted maintenance management systems (CMMS), Power Automate, Power BI.
  • Highly proficient in using MS-Office applications like excel, word and power-point, ERP (SAP), Outlook and AutoCAD.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, determination, dynamism, creativity, and ability to manage personnel.
