Role: Maintenance Planner

About the Team and the Role:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing detailed maintenance plans, outlining scope of work, and managing required resources including spare parts and manpower for Vehicle, Battery and Paintshop.You will validate job plans for equipment strategies, lead the optimization of maintenance spares, and ensure accurate skilled man-hours are maintained in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive maintenance plans for Vehicle , Battery & Paintshop detailing scope, manpower, planned downtime, and estimated duration.
- Validate job plans and ensure Bill of Equipment (BOE) links to preventive maintenance tasks with accurate man-hours in the CMMS.
- Estimate labor hours, tools, and spare components required to complete various work orders, including preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Lead the optimization of maintenance spares to ensure constant availability at optimal costs for the organization.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of materials and equipment while coordinating with production and maintenance teams for execution.
- Analyze KPI data to identify operational trends and areas for improvement, while establishing a TPM culture.
- Act as a reliever for maintenance shift incharges in both the Vehicle and Battery plants to ensure continuous operation.
- Drive improvement activities by participating in SwLs and liaising with external parties to ensure smooth plant operations.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Required qualifications - B Tech
- Experience (no. of years) - 10 to 14 Years
Must Have Competencies:
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in SAP Maintenance Modules (PM) and the management of MRO spares.
- Apply expert knowledge in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability Maintenance strategies.
- Utilize expert-level skills in IoT device management and the use of G-Suites for operational planning.
- Operates as an expert in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document and track all maintenance tasks.
Good to have Competencies:
- Apply advanced knowledge of Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation, and Labview Programming to maintenance operations.
- Utilize problem-solving techniques using QC tools and implement Energy Management strategies.
- Execute tasks within the JIRA platform and standard SAP environments for workflow and task management.
- Support long-term improvement plans and Machine Building for Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
