Role Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead preventive and breakdown maintenance across retail outlets, central kitchen, and production facilities.
This role is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted operations by maintaining equipment, utilities, electrical systems, refrigeration, and facility infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will bring structure, preventive discipline, and cost control to the maintenance function.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Minimise downtime across retail outlets and central kitchen
- Ensure timely resolution of equipment breakdowns
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records
Production & Equipment Management
- Oversee maintenance of food production machinery
- Ensure operational efficiency of ovens, fryers, mixers, refrigeration units, and packaging equipment
- Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and servicing
- Manage AMC contracts and vendor negotiations
Electrical & Utility Systems
- Supervise electrical systems, generators, and power backup units
- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Maintain water supply and utility infrastructure
Facility Management
- Monitor upkeep of retail outlets and production facilities
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
- Conduct regular inspections and identify risk areas
Cost & Resource Control
- Control maintenance expenses and optimise vendor costs
- Maintain spare parts inventory discipline
- Track maintenance budgets and reporting
Required Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in maintenance management
- Experience in food production, FMCG, manufacturing, or multi-location retail preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems
- Experience managing preventive maintenance systems
- Ability to manage external vendors and internal technicians
