B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of machinery, utilities, electrical systems, DG sets, compressors, and equipment.
- Minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and monitor daily maintenance activities.
- Lead and manage maintenance teams, technicians, electricians, and contractors.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with operations teams for maintenance planning and shutdown activities.
- Monitor AMC vendors and ensure service quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Support installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and maintenance standards.
- Monitor utility consumption and drive cost-saving initiatives.
