Job Summary:
The Maintenance Executive will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, upkeep, and safety of all kitchen equipment, facilities, and infrastructure across Food Whisperer locations. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor coordination, and minimizing downtime in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and infrastructure
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of kitchen machinery (ovens, refrigerators, burners, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and basic civil issues
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and AMC services
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and hygiene standards
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from operations teams
- Monitor utility usage (electricity, water, gas) and suggest cost-saving measures
- Assist in installation and setup of new equipment and outlets
- Ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or central kitchen setups
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple locations/issues
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in QSR, cloud kitchen, or food production units
- Familiarity with AMC/vendor management
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
