ROLE & CONTEXT
Purpose
To handle overall Plant Maintenance activities (Utility & Process) as a single contact and maintain machine uptime along with to compliance for all engineering legal compliances
Context
To maintain machine up time and make machine readily available to production department & ensures the maximum reliability, safety, and efficiency of industrial equipment, machinery. A proactive HSE Coordinator assist in promoting and ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices across our operations and contribute to fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Overview
- Prime responsibility to upkeep LASER cutting machines and Sewing machines, SPMs, Automated Sewing lines (Mechanical & Electrical) with calibrations & maintaining critical Spares inventory.
- Servicing & maintaining the plant equipment's electrically & mechanically fit (DG set, compressor, LT/HT panels, transformer, capacitor panels, UPS, chiller, Cranes, lightings etc)
- Maintaining equipments compliant with respect to HSE guidelines.
- Expertise in VFD, HMI, PLC, electrical control panel wiring, ladder diagram & trouble shooting.
- Hands on experience on electrical components like contactor, relays, temp controllers, breakers, motors, heaters, switch boards, etc
- Calibrating lifting and Material handling equipments (forklifts, cranes, hoists)
- Planning & implementing the Preventive, Predictive, Breakdown & corrective maintenance schedules of plant equipment's & machinery
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing machinery to restore functionality quickly.
- Installation & commissioning of new equipment's
- Leading & execution of yearly electrical audits
- Loss time data capturing, analysis & preventive measures to minimize breakdowns.
- Sub vendor's/Suppliers coordination & follow up for routine and non-routine maintenance activities.
- Review of breakdown trends for the reliability of plant & machines
- Monitor critical activities based on the PM schedule and advise production team
- Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.
- Close co-ordination with CFT team.
- Maintaining accurate technical records of repairs, maintenance, and performance data.
- HSE Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within a FTU plant.
- Drive the sustainability initiatives-energy, water, fuel, CO2 reduction etc (daily data capturing, monitoring & controlling)
- Dealing with government authorities for legal & statutory requirements relates to Power (MSEB), EMS & waste control (MPCB) and Factory Inspector etc.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits to identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote safety awareness and ensure best practices are followed across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate incidents, analyse root causes, and implement preventative measures.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on HSE performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to senior management
- Responsible for keeping records of the periodic inspections, keep a register of recommended HSE requirements as per relevant regulations.
- Maintaining & adhering to Health, Safety & Environment Management System as per latest standard (ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018)
- Adhering to company's Values, Business principles and Code of conduct
- Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as required by the project / business.
C. Experience And Qualifications
Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge
8- 10 Years working experience as a Maintenance in-charge in a reputed Multinational Manufacturing Industry.
Minimum Entry Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. (BE)
Holding an Electrical Supervisor license will be an added advantage
Skills
Technical & Non-TechnicaL
- Conversant with Engineering drawings, Good technical Skills
- Knowledge of Computers like MS office & AutoCAD is preferable.
- Well conversant with all concerned Engg processes / procedures
- Well conversant with Production Tools, jigs and fixtures and measurement instruments.
- Working exp in SAP Environment is advantageous.
- Operating knowledge of all latest Computer packages is preferable.
- Working exposure with ISO 9001/14001/45001 are preferable.
- Good command on languages Marathi, Hindi, English is preferable.
- People Management for co-ordination.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
