JOB AIM
- To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at site with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices.
- Assist the REL (Regional engineering lead) in managing M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables with in the stipulated time.
- Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services
- Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators and service level agreements targets.
- Managing/monitoring IFM partner
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
- To ensure proper planning & managing of the CAPEX & OPEX budgets for engineering & operational expenses.
- To ensure proper planning of critical spares for all installations as per manufacturer recommendation and inventory
- To coordinate with Procurement and business system group to have all M&E related contracts in place
- To coordinate with IFM in updating on work completions for accruals update & invoice processing
Operations Management
- To establish engineering & operational procedures & roll out the same for site staff
- To establish contacts with local authorities (M&E related) for facility related issues and for all statutory related compliances at all times.
- To review the maintenance/service practices of M&E contactors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.
- To plan & ensure smooth operations of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing & civil works pertaining to the facility
- Responsible for development of all maintenance related schedules & shut down in consultations with OEM & HCL.
- Periodically inspection of log books, history card, checklist, escalation charts, OCP & PPM schedules etc for a better management of engineering systems
- To ensure an uptime of 100% and set up the practices to deliver seamless service
- To ensure all statutory documents are updated like CIEG, Fire, Lift, Explosive, Pollution Control, Etc related to M&E operations and kept in place.
- To implement energy management program to reduce the cost on utilities.
- Handle (if needed) small renovation projects from initiation to completion.
- To ensure the technical staff attends & work for closures for all F&S technical related issues in the facility.
- To plan, implement & adhere to 52 weeks annual M&E maintenance schedule.
- To monitor consistency on agreed SLA & KPI wit IFM
- To establish a relationship with CID team during for all the upcoming facilities
- Managing DC and reviewing PUE/DCIE report along with the equipment performance and EOL replacement needs.
- Monitoring monthly RE contribution in the overall energy spend. Coordinate with RE Generator and Electrical department to ensure the timely rebates and settling of disputes, work with Central team to evaluate several options for increasing RE penetration.
- IFMS Partner/AMC vendor partner HOTO/Transition Management.
Records Management
a) To ensure managing IFM on Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly & Yearly records are checked for its accuracy & analysis purposes and update all engineering related activities.
b) To take up all audits related to M&E and take necessary action for closing the observations.
Reporting Management
- Daily Report Service Report, SLA Report
- Monthly Report Energy Report, IIEE Report, major works carried out report & Equipment Status Report, PPM report, CEM/ops aide audits, incident reporting with RCA, escalation as per escalation matrix, and all HCL initiatives.
