Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrical Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with the ability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a variety of electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems in our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot problems in machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability and safety.
- Install and upgrade electrical systems as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians and apprentices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance or related field.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and repair methods for electrical systems.
- Ability to work with various electrical tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in electrical maintenance.
- Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance or engineering.
