Maintenance and Safety Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance & Safety Manager to join our team at VEEDEE SOLUTIONS LLP, located in Lohop Village, Khalapur, Raigad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant maintenance and safety management, particularly within the chemical industry. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability of our equipment and the safety of our operations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the maintenance of pumps, compressors, and other plant machinery to ensure optimal performance. - Manage both preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including PESO, Fire Safety, and Factory License requirements. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage spare parts inventory effectively. - Conduct safety audits and monitor plant safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. - Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and troubleshooting support for equipment issues. Required Skills: - A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is essential. - A minimum of 4 years of experience in plant maintenance and industrial safety, with a strong understanding of pumps, compressors, seals, and gaskets. - Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office is advantageous. - Experience in gas plant operations will be preferred.
