Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Location : Por, Vadodara
Industry: CRGO Lamination / Electrical Steel Processing
Job Purpose
To oversee and manage all maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, and breakdown) for machinery and utilities used in CRGO lamination sheet processing,
ensuring high equipment availability, safety, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- 8–15 years of experience in:
- Steel processing / CRGO / electrical lamination industry
- Maintenance management roles
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance
- Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance for:
- Slitting lines
- Annealing furnaces
- Core cutting / stacking machines
- Decoilers and recoilers
- Handle breakdown maintenance to minimize production downtime
- Maintain critical spares inventory
- Utility Management
- Oversee utilities such as:
- Electrical systems (HT/LT panels, transformers)
- Compressors and air systems
- Cooling systems and HVAC (if applicable)
- Ensure uninterrupted power and utility supply
- Team Leadership
- Manage and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors
- Allocate tasks and monitor performance
- Train team on safety and maintenance best practices
- Planning & Documentation
- Develop maintenance schedules and SOPs
- Maintain records of:
- Equipment history
- Breakdown analysis
- Maintenance logs
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) if available
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
- Implement lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Cost Control
- Optimize maintenance costs without compromising quality
- Monitor spare parts usage and procurement
- Plan annual maintenance budgets
- Continuous Improvement
- Analyze recurring failures and implement root cause solutions
- Improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime
- Support lean manufacturing / TPM initiatives
