Job Description
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in Apache Web Server administration and support .
- Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS and OMVS (UNIX System Services).
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems, shell commands, and scripting.
- Experience in installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Apache Web Servers.
- Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, HTTPS configuration, and security hardening.
- Knowledge of zFS/HFS file systems, USS directories, and UNIX permissions.
- Experience troubleshooting web server, UNIX, and OMVS-related production incidents.
- Familiarity with software patching, upgrades, maintenance, and version compatibility management.
- Experience analyzing logs, performance bottlenecks, and system availability issues.
- Strong problem-solving, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA) skills.
- Ability to create technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
