Mainframe Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements functional specifications and technical design documents
• Design and execute test cases test scenarios and test scripts
• Perform Functional System Regression Integration End to End and User Acceptance Testing UAT
• Validate Mainframe batch jobs online transactions and business workflows
• Perform file validation and data reconciliation between source and target systems
• Execute database and backend testing using Mainframe data sources
• Validate interfaces between Mainframe and distributed applications
• Identify log track and retest defects through closure
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and QA activities
• Prepare test execution reports defect summaries and status updates

• Strong experience in Mainframe Testing
• Hands on experience with
• IBM z OS
• TSO ISPF
• JCL Job Control Language
• VSAM
• CICS
• COBOL Applications
• DB2
• IMS preferred
• Ability to understand and validate Mainframe batch and online processes
