Requirements-

Mainframe COBOL, Batch JCL, CICS, DB2, MQ

8-10 years experience. Looking for someone who is a hands-on developer to help lead and mentor more junior developers on the team.

JD-We are seeking a Mainframe Software Engineer to design, build, and operate the applications that power Asset Services. You will work develop new capabilities for our systems as well as integration points for modernization efforts - owning features end to end from design through production support. You'll chip in to our secure SDLC, collaborate in Agile squads, and help raise engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Develop and maintain COBOL programs for batch and online processing in CICS regions.

Design and optimize DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and ensure compliance with DB2 standards and performance tuning guidelines.

Implement IBM MQ messaging solutions for inter-system communication, ensuring secure and reliable message delivery.

Perform JCL scripting for job scheduling and execution; troubleshoot abends and optimize batch performance.

Ensure alignment to SDLC and release management processes, including change package creation and migration to production environments.
