Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Specialist with a strong background in US Insurance domain products. In this role, you will lead solution design, handle client business queries, and drive end-to-end development for major enhancements on DXC Intellectual Property (IP) platforms.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and implement complex enhancements independently on core policy administration platforms.
- Act as a technical consultant, providing direct guidance to US-based clients on complex business queries.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across hybrid mainframe and Micro Focus environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Core Tech: 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Mainframe systems and Micro Focus development tools.
- Product Niche: Minimum 5+ years of recent, deep hands-on experience with DXC IP products—specifically Vantage, wmA (Wealth Management Accelerator), DSS, or PPLus.
- Domain Expertise: Strong familiarity with US Insurance (Life and Annuity) policy administration workflows.
- Capability: Proven track record of independently handling medium-to-large scale enhancement projects and translating business needs into clean technical solutions.
