Job Description

COBOL,JCL,HPS rules, DB2, Mainframe zOS
Very good communication skills
Software Language (one or more): COBOL,JCL,HPS rules.
Database: DB2.
Operating System experience: Mainframe zOS, UNIX/Linux.
Rapid SQL/Toad/DBeaver, ServiceNow ,Tectia/Putty, HPS, Autosis, BigPanda.
5 to 10 years hands-on IT industry experience ( on Mainframe Operating system functions and programing languages COBOL/JCL. Familiarity with all common commands and navigation)
Support applications that are both on-prem and cloud (Azure) based, Cloud based skills are preferred, Experience on monitoring solutions, preferably BigPanda, AppDynamics and/or cloud native technologes.
Strong knowledge in Investment banking functions and support processes(Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Release Management), Proficient with tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence, Github and batch scheduling tools like Autosys
Understanding of common issues/alerts/abends and their troubleshooting of Job failures
Good Analytical skills to perform deep dive analysis of issues to find the root cause.
Should be able identify tasks which require considerable manual effort and able to look for automating those tasks saving FTEs
Contribute ITIL production expertise to the onboarding of existing and new IT products and services.
Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements, Assist in planning BCP, patching and other infrastructure related projects
