Mainframe Developer

Experience : 4 to 10 years

Location : Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Pune, Hyderabad

Must-Have Skills:

• COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2
• Mainframe Development and Maintenance experience
• Agile Development methodology
• Mainframe DevOps experience
• Good understanding of IPC processes
• IBM IDz (IBM Developer for z/OS) experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and support Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Work on Mainframe development, maintenance, and production support activities.
• Utilize Mainframe DevOps tools and follow best development practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and proactively resolve technical challenges.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Adapt quickly to client-specific tools, technologies, and processes.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure timely execution.
• Act as a self-driven team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• Relevant experience in Mainframe Development and Maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Mainframe DevOps tools preferred.
