Job Description

Role Overview

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level mainframe applications in the Automotive domain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions while adhering to standards and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Application Development

Create technical and program specifications for mainframe applications.
Develop, test, and maintain applications using CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
Perform code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with coding standards.

Production Support

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including code-red production scenarios.
Monitor application performance and recommend optimizations as needed.

Collaboration & Mentorship

Work with team members to deliver all necessary application components.
Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing for junior developers.
Support team leads in delivery activities and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
Prior experience in the Automotive domain is mandatory.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and support team leads in various delivery activities.
