Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Mainframe Developerwith strong expertise in mainframe technologies andmandatory experience in the Automobile industry domain. The role involves creating technical specifications, developing high-quality applications, and supporting project delivery across the mainframe development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Createtechnical specificationsandprogram specificationsfor mainframe applications.
Develop, test, and maintain applications usingCICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
Collaborate with team members to deliver all required components and project deliverables.
Performcode reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide support duringcritical / Code Red situations.
Ensure compliance withcoding standards, security policies, and best practices.
Providementorship and technical guidanceto junior developers.
Support the team lead in planning and executing various delivery activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
78 yearsof experience in mainframe development, support, and deployment.
Strong command ofCICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
Mandatory: Hands-on experience in the Automobile industry domain(Development or Support projects).
Excellentproblem-solvingandanalyticalabilities.
Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
