Mainframe Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining mainframe applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mainframe applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform system testing and debugging to ensure quality and performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mainframe applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Experience with mainframe development tools and environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CICS and VSAM.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with modern programming languages.
