About the Role

The Mainframe Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications. This position requires a deep understanding of mainframe technologies and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Perform system testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mainframe systems.
• Document technical specifications and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Experience with mainframe development tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CICS and VSAM.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Knowledge of modern programming languages.
