Experience: 3-8 Years

Application Development

• Design, develop, and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and related mainframe technologies.
• Develop and optimize batch and online processing systems.
• Review and analyze functional requirements to create technical specifications.

2. Maintenance & Production Support

• Troubleshoot production incidents, investigate abends, and provide timely resolutions.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
• Monitor batch job performance and ensure SLA compliance.

3. System Analysis & Technical Design

• Work closely with business analysts to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform impact analysis for system changes, upgrades, and enhancements.

4. Database & Data Management

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for DB2 databases.
• Work with VSAM datasets, file handling, and data transformation tasks.
